Through one extraordinary girl’s story, SOLD illustrates the brutality of child trafficking and her journey to freedom.

Gillian Anderson’s (X-Files)  role as a photographer in the SOLD is inspired by photographer Lisa Kristine who has documented slavery around the world. They met on set and Lisa showed Gillian how she works in the field—quickly.
SOLD is directed by Academy and Emmy award-winner, Jeffrey D. Brown, Executive Produced by two time Academy Award winner, Emma Thompson, Produced by Jane Charles.
As a humanitarian photographer, my craft is devoted to honoring the innate dignity inherent in every individual. My work spans more than 150 countries and serves as a catalyst for social change via exposure and financial support. Along with my photography, I champion the causes I document and have been invited to deliver keynote speeches at the UN, Parliament, The Vatican, Davos & TED stages.
